Boot Camp Is Operated By the New Fathers Foundation

To attract grant funding and to expand and operate Boot Camp for New Dads, in 1995 we formed the New Fathers Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The Board of Directors is as follows:

Greg Bishop, Founder

The father of two sons and two daughters and a brother to twelve, Greg is President of the New Fathers Foundation and Head Coach of Boot Camp for New Dads. He is also CEO of Trauma Care of America, Inc.and founder of the non-profit National Foundation for Trauma Care, Inc., the nation's trauma center association.

Alison Bishop, President & Board Member

Alison is the mother of four and the founder and inaugural facilitator of Boot Camp for New Moms. Alison is also the Director of Boot Camp for New Dads and the President of Dads Adventure, which provides funding and administrative support to Boot Camp for New Dads and Moms.

Chuck Ault, Board Member

Chuck Ault is the Regional Director, Community Health Improvement, Intermountain Health, Peaks Region – St. Joseph Hospital and Lutheran Medical Center.

Lamar henderson, board member

Lamar is the Family Services Supervisor for Merced County Human Service Agency’s All Dads Matter Program, where for 20 years he has supported men with resources for their fatherhood journey.  He was chair of the Juvenile Justice Delinquency Prevention Commission of Merced County for 13 years and is a trainer for various programs, including at UC Davis and Fresno State University.

John Bishop, Board Member

The father of two girls, John is founder and CEO of a successful architectural graphics design firm, and brings key management and graphic skills to the New Fathers Foundation, Inc.

ryan berryman, Board Member

Ryan founded San Bernardino Fatherhood, which provides fathers with educational services, father-friendly resources, and promotes the inclusion of responsible fathering in communities. San Bernardino Fatherhood was awarded a contract by the County to offer fatherhood services to reduce black infant mortality. Prior to that, Ryan spent more than 20 years as a Child Welfare Social Worker in San Bernardino County Children and Family Services after working with troubled youth in group homes and developmentally disabled children.
He is the proud father of two adult children and grandfather of nine.
