Spanish Resources
Our resources tailored to new Latino fathers began when St. Joseph’s Hospital in Denver, under Chuck Ault’s direction, started conducting Boot Camp in Spanish in a local church. With the help of a grant from the Annie E. Casey Foundation, we were able to expand the Spanish program across our network. We worked with MOMS Orange County, located in Santa Ana, California, which provides extensive support to new Latino moms, to develop a workshop for their partners under the direction of Alejandro Moreno, a member of our Board of Directors. He also translated our popular Lessons from the Frontlines booklet and Coaches/Coordinator Manual into Spanish and directed the development of a video in Spanish to support the program.
